Epithalon is the most-studied telomerase-activating peptide — human trials show telomere length preservation and normalization of circadian melatonin rhythm.
NAD+ is the rate-limiting cofactor for sirtuin activity, DNA repair (PARP), and mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation; direct supplementation bypasses precursor conversion bottlenecks.
SS-31 (Elamipretide) selectively binds cardiolipin on the inner mitochondrial membrane, protecting the electron transport chain from ROS damage and restoring ATP synthesis in aged tissue.
Together they target the three most-cited pillars of the cellular-aging model: telomere biology, NAD-dependent repair, and mitochondrial integrity.
Kit prep
Reconstitute Epithalon and SS-31 with 2 mL BAC water each. NAD+ ships as 500 mg lyophilized powder — reconstitute with 5 mL BAC water (100 mg/mL) and refrigerate immediately. NAD+ is light-sensitive; keep the vial in the box between draws.

Protocol references
Epithalon: 10 mg per cycle, split into 100 mcg SC once daily for 10 days, run 2–3 times per year.
NAD+ 50–100 mg SC per session, 2–3× weekly. Start at the low end — full doses can cause a warm flush; slow the injection to blunt it.
SS-31: 5 mg SC daily, mornings. Continuous dosing is well-tolerated; no cycling required in reported protocols.
Refrigerate reconstituted vials at 2–8°C. Use within 30 days. Lyophilized vials stable ≥12 months at −20°C.
Common questions
Do I need to cycle NAD+?+
Most protocols dose NAD+ continuously at 2–3× per week. Higher-frequency (daily) dosing is used in short 2-week loading blocks then tapered.
Why SS-31 over other mitochondrial peptides?+
SS-31 is the only cardiolipin-targeting peptide with human clinical data (mitochondrial myopathy trials). Its mechanism is directly upstream of ATP production.
Can I take Epithalon year-round?+
The referenced protocols use 10-day pulses 2–3 times per year rather than continuous dosing. The 3-month bundle covers three full Epithalon cycles.
Is NAD+ injection painful?+
IV NAD+ can be uncomfortable at high infusion rates. Subcutaneous NAD+ at 50–100 mg is generally well-tolerated when injected slowly.
