What is TB-500?

TB-500 is the research-grade synthetic fragment of Thymosin Beta-4 (TB4), a naturally occurring 43-amino-acid peptide expressed in almost every cell of the body. Its role in cell migration, actin sequestration and angiogenesis has made it a cornerstone peptide in recovery research.

Where BPC-157 is often described as a local repair signal, TB-500 works systemically — it moves through the circulation and acts anywhere injured or remodeling tissue is calling for cells.

How does TB-500 work?

TB-500 binds G-actin, regulating actin polymerization and giving cells the mobility to migrate to injured tissue. This is the biological basis for its systemic effects on tendon, muscle and vascular repair.

It also promotes angiogenesis (new capillary growth), modulates inflammatory signaling, and supports stem-cell recruitment — three mechanisms that collectively accelerate tissue remodeling.
